Tēnā tātou e te whānau whānui o Parininihi ki Waitotara,

Following the Prime Minister’s announcement to move to Alert Level 1, PKW would like to extend our appreciation to everyone for the efforts made throughout this unique experience.

It was only through a collaborative effort that we were able to come through this experience and it will take an even greater effort of collaboration to recover from the impacts of Covid-19. It has also been extremely difficult to grieve from afar for those of our whanau who passed during the lockdown period. Ka tangihia tonutia kia koutou e ngā māpihi maurea o te iwi.

The PKW office will now be open to our whanau from Monday 15 June, and our business will return to a ‘degree of normal’. We will maintain a range of protocols to ensure we are prepared in the event of another outbreak or an escalation in the Alert Levels. This includes:

  • Contact Tracing to ensure we record dates and times of visits to the office.
  • Sick or unwell visitors will politely be asked to reschedule their appointment.
  • Hand sanitisers and disinfectant for surfaces will be provided to ensure we can continue our good hygiene habits.
  • Social distancing is no longer required; however, we are conscious that some will still have a preference.  When in doubt it is best to ask first.

Should you have any questions, please contact us by phone or by email.

We look forward to seeing you again and we appreciate your support while we work through our transition back into the office to continue to deliver on our PKW vision of He Tangata, He Whenua, He Oranga.

Kia kaha, kia māia, kia manawa piharau – kia tū kotahi ai tātou te whānau.

Be strong, be brave, be steadfast – united together in our efforts as a whānau
