The Committee of Management of Parininihi ki Wait\u014dtara Incorporation are pleased to announce the appointment of Aisha Ross as our new Te Rau Matomato – Chief Executive Officer.<\/p>\n

Aisha, from Ng\u0101ruahine, Ng\u0101ti Ruanui, Taranaki, Te \u0100tiawa and Te Whakat\u014dhea, returns to the PKW wh\u0101nau having previously served as an Associate Director, then as a Committee of Management Board Member.<\/p>\n

He brings a wealth of knowledge and skills from across the investment, education, marketing, agriculture, property, and public sectors. He also holds a various directorships and trusteeships.<\/p>\n

Aisha has held a number of senior leadership roles and most recently, as a General Partner at Hillfarrance Venture Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm investing in high-growth technology.<\/span><\/p>\n

His<\/span> true passion lies in supporting the growth and development of our people. As the Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Te W\u0101nanga o Aotearoa he led out a large team of kaimahi that focused on achieving commercial innovation with positive social and cultural outcomes.<\/p>\n

While in this role he pioneered the establishment of Ahik\u014dmako \u2013 the Centre of M\u0101ori Innovation and Entrepreneurship<\/i> which provided innovators and wh\u0101nau enterprises with support to achieve economic success. He also led out Pakihi, Startup W\u0101nanga <\/i>and K\u014dkiri M\u0101ori Business Accelerator<\/i>\u2013 introductory to intense programmes to provide the right support for M\u0101ori entrepreneurs across Aotearoa, to achieve their business aspirations.<\/p>\n

He has a strong commitment to the PKW kaupapa through his whakapapa and wh\u0101nau connections, and is proud to serve our shareholders, wh\u0101nau, and kaimahi in the pursuit of collective growth and prosperity \u2013 He Tangata, He Whenua, He Oranga.<\/p>\n

The journey to this point he merits to the legacy of his grandmother Rangimaimaiao Ross (nee King), and the unwavering support from his mother, Vivienne, Uncle Harry Ross, and his late great-aunt Mana Jenkins.<\/p>\n

Aisha will officially join the PKW kaimahi wh\u0101nau on Monday the 24th<\/sup><\/span> of April 2023.<\/p>\n
