Mark was appointed as an independent director of PKW Farms GP Limited in March 2020. He is also Director of Farming for Southern Pastures LP since 2012 and a Director of Poharu Farms Ltd.
Mark worked as an independent farm management consultant for 19 years, prior to this he worked for the New Zealand Dairy Board as a farm consultant.
Mark affiliates to Ngāti Tūwharetoa and Ngāi Tahu. In 2012 Mark’s farming interests received the Taranaki Regional Council award for riparian management and sustainable farming.
Mark has a Diploma and Bachelor of Agriculture from Massey University, he is a graduate of the Rabo Bank Executive Development Programme and the Fonterra Governance Development Programme and is a member of NZIPM.
Mark has lived in Taranaki for past 30 years with his wife Anne, and sons Adam and Charlie. Mark has a passion for the people and the land of Taranaki and feels fortunate to call Taranaki home.
