PKW Trust / Te Rau Manawaora o Parininihi ki Waitōtara are proud to announce the opening of the 2024 Te Reo Rangatira Scholarship. Two Te Rau Matatau / Students will receive an award of $50,000 each for one year. This will cover a stipend of $40k (based on the living wage) and $10k for fees and resources.
These Scholarships are designed for tauira that are enrolled in full time Te Reo Immersion programmes.
The normal PKW Trust criteria apply and in addition the candidates must be resident in Taranaki at the time of application and will return to Taranaki on completion to contribute back to the aspirations of Taranaki iwi whānui.
Decisions will be made in March 2024 and grants awarded in late March pending proof of enrolment.
